  3. This amplifier has two parameters.  Radio buttons in the amplifier's dialog box allow the selection of either a log or an exponential output or raising to a power.  The text entry box labelled Base or Power lets you enter a base or a power to be raised to.

  5. If Log Amp is selected, the base parameter must be greater than zero but not equal to 1.0.  If Exp Amp is selected, the base parameter must be greater than zero.
